Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the CompHub website and the purchase of products and services from CompHub Limited. By accessing our website, placing an order, purchasing a product or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to customers purchasing gaming PCs, custom-built PCs, computer components, monitors, peripherals, upgrades, diagnostics, repairs and other products or services supplied by CompHub.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Irish consumer law.

Company Information

The products and services described in these Terms & Conditions are provided by:

  • Company: CompHub Limited
  • Trading name: CompHub
  • Address: 203 Office, Nesta Business Center Kylemore, Dublin, D10 K729
  • Email: customer.support@comphub.ie
  • Website: comphub.ie

Products and Services

CompHub supplies a range of gaming PCs, custom-built PCs, computer components, monitors, peripherals and related products. We also provide services including diagnostics, repairs, upgrades and other computer-related services.

Product descriptions, images, specifications and prices are provided to help customers understand the products and services available. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that this information is accurate. However, minor differences in appearance, packaging, manufacturer specifications or product availability may occur.

We reserve the right to update, modify, discontinue or remove products and services from our website where reasonably necessary.

Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order or submitting a request through the CompHub website does not automatically mean that the order has been accepted by CompHub. An order may be subject to availability, payment confirmation, verification and acceptance by CompHub.

We may contact you if further information is required before processing your order. If we are unable to accept or fulfil an order, we will inform you where reasonably possible and arrange any refund that is due in accordance with applicable law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information provided when placing an order, including contact, delivery and product configuration information, is accurate.

Prices and Availability

All prices displayed on the CompHub website are shown in Euro (€) unless stated otherwise. Prices, promotions and product availability may change from time to time.

Where a product or component becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, CompHub will take reasonable steps to contact the customer and discuss the available options.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, listing or technical errors. Where an error materially affects an order, we will contact the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible.

Ready-to-Order Products

Ready-to-order products include standard products and pre-configured systems offered for purchase without being specifically built to an individual customer's unique requirements.

Customers purchasing eligible goods online may have a statutory right to cancel their purchase within the period provided by applicable law. These rights apply in addition to any other legal rights available to the customer.

Where a customer exercises an applicable statutory right to cancel because they have changed their mind, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that this has been communicated before the contract is concluded.

Returned goods should be handled with reasonable care. A customer may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling or use beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, where permitted by applicable law.

A refund will be processed in accordance with applicable law. CompHub will not charge a separate refund or payment processing fee where a customer is exercising an applicable statutory right to cancel.

Custom-Built PCs and Order Deposits

A Custom-Built PC is a computer configured or built specifically according to a customer's selected requirements, specifications or agreed component configuration.

CompHub may require a 10% order deposit based on the total value of a Custom-Built PC before processing the order.

Where a customer chooses to pay the full order value in advance, an amount equal to 10% of the total order value will be allocated as the order deposit.

The order deposit is intended to secure the order and support the costs associated with processing a Custom-Built PC order. Where clearly stated at the time of purchase, the 10% order deposit may be non-refundable if the customer cancels the order, subject to applicable law.

If CompHub cancels the order or is unable to fulfil the order for reasons attributable to CompHub, any applicable deposit and other amounts paid will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Goods genuinely made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be subject to exceptions from statutory cancellation rights where applicable law provides for such an exception. Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot legally be excluded.

If a customer wishes to cancel a Custom-Built PC order, they should contact CompHub as soon as possible. Depending on the stage of the order, component purchases, work completed and applicable law, additional cancellation arrangements may apply.

Component Availability and Substitutions

CompHub aims to supply and build systems using the exact components listed on the product page or agreed with the customer.

If an agreed component becomes unavailable, discontinued or cannot reasonably be supplied, CompHub will contact the customer before making a material substitution.

We will not intentionally substitute a key component with a materially different alternative without first contacting the customer and discussing the available options.

Payment

The payment options available depend on the selected delivery or collection method.

For collection orders, payment may be made by:

  • Cash
  • Card payment through an available payment terminal

For Courier Dublin Delivery and An Post Nationwide Delivery, full payment is required before the order is dispatched, handed to the courier or otherwise released for delivery.

Payment for delivery orders may be made through the CompHub website using the available payment method, including Revolut Business, or through an authorised payment link provided directly by CompHub.

CompHub reserves the right not to dispatch or release an order until full payment has been received and confirmed.

Collection

Where collection is selected, the customer will be notified when the order is ready for collection.

Collection is free of charge unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Customers may be required to provide reasonable information to verify that the correct order is being collected.

Courier Dublin Delivery

CompHub offers Courier Dublin Delivery to the delivery address provided by the customer where this service is available.

The delivery charge displayed on the website is currently €20, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Full payment is required before an order is released for courier delivery.

An Post Nationwide Delivery

CompHub offers An Post Nationwide Delivery to eligible addresses in Ireland.

The delivery charge displayed on the website is currently €30, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Full payment is required before an order is dispatched or handed to the relevant delivery provider.

Next-Day Delivery

CompHub offers Next-Day Delivery on eligible in-stock products ordered and fully paid by 12:00 PM. This service is provided using An Post Express for eligible deliveries within Ireland. Next-Day Delivery is intended to provide a faster delivery option for customers purchasing products that are currently available in stock.

Next-Day Delivery does not apply automatically to every product or order. Pre-order products and products with a specific delivery timeframe displayed on their product page will follow the delivery timeframe stated on the relevant product page. The delivery information shown on the product page should therefore be checked before placing an order.

Next-Day Delivery Cut-Off Time

The cut-off time for eligible Next-Day Delivery orders is 12:00 PM. To qualify for the same-day dispatch attempt, an eligible order must be placed and fully paid by 12:00 PM on a day when CompHub is able to hand parcels to the relevant postal provider.

CompHub will make a reasonable effort to prepare and hand eligible orders to An Post Express on the same day when the order has been placed and fully paid by the 12:00 PM cut-off. However, same-day handover is an operational target and is not a guarantee that the parcel will be handed to An Post on the same day.

Next-Day Delivery and An Post

Once an eligible parcel has been handed to An Post, the delivery of the parcel is handled by An Post. An Post Express is used for the Next-Day Delivery service, but the actual delivery time depends on the postal provider and circumstances affecting the postal network.

CompHub does not guarantee next-day arrival. Our responsibility for this service is to make a reasonable effort to process eligible orders within the stated cut-off time and, where operationally possible, hand the parcel to An Post Express on the same day. Delays occurring after the parcel has been handed to An Post are outside CompHub's reasonable control.

Where a delay is caused by An Post after the parcel has been handed over, CompHub does not provide a refund or compensation for the courier delay, except where a refund, remedy or other responsibility is required under applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Friday and Weekend Orders

Orders placed and fully paid by 12:00 PM on Friday will be prepared for same-day handover where operationally possible. However, customers should understand that actual delivery depends on An Post and may take place during the following week rather than on the next calendar day.

Where the relevant post office is closed on Saturday or Sunday, eligible parcels will be handed to An Post on the next available working day, normally Monday. CompHub cannot guarantee the exact delivery day after the parcel has been handed to An Post.

Products Eligible for Next-Day Delivery

Next-Day Delivery applies only to products that are in stock and specifically eligible for the service. The applicable delivery information will be displayed on the relevant product page. A product shown as available for purchase does not necessarily mean that it qualifies for Next-Day Delivery unless the relevant delivery information indicates that it does.

  • In-stock products may qualify for Next-Day Delivery where stated.
  • Pre-order products are not automatically eligible.
  • Products with a specific delivery timeframe will follow the timeframe displayed on the product page.
  • Orders must be placed and fully paid by 12:00 PM to qualify for the same-day dispatch attempt.
  • Actual delivery remains dependent on An Post after handover.

CompHub Stock Errors

CompHub makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product availability shown on the website is accurate. However, in rare circumstances, a stock or inventory error may result in a product being shown as available when it is not actually available for immediate dispatch.

If an eligible Next-Day Delivery product is affected by a CompHub stock error or another issue attributable to CompHub that prevents the order from being fulfilled as advertised, we will contact the customer the same day where reasonably possible to discuss the available options.

Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be offered:

  • An alternative product that may be available sooner
  • A different delivery date or timeframe
  • A refund where appropriate

We will discuss the available option with the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible.

Delivery Times

Any collection, preparation, dispatch or delivery times displayed on the CompHub website or communicated to a customer are estimates only unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed in writing.

Actual delivery or completion times may be affected by component availability, supplier delays, product demand, courier capacity, payment verification, technical requirements, public holidays or other circumstances outside CompHub's reasonable control.

CompHub will make reasonable efforts to fulfil orders within an appropriate timeframe. However, an estimated timeframe should not be treated as a guaranteed delivery or completion date unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Nothing in this section affects any consumer rights that may apply where goods are not supplied within a legally required or otherwise agreed period.

Risk and Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and appropriate contact details. CompHub may not be responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Where applicable, delivery may be subject to the terms and procedures of the relevant courier or postal provider. However, nothing in these Terms limits any rights a consumer may have against CompHub under applicable law.

Diagnostics

CompHub offers PC diagnostics to identify or investigate faults and other issues with a computer.

The current diagnostic fee is €50, unless another price is agreed before the service is provided.

The diagnostic process is intended to identify the likely cause of a reported issue. In some cases, additional testing, repairs or replacement parts may be required before a complete solution can be confirmed.

PC Repairs and Replacement Parts

Where a computer is outside warranty or a reported issue is not covered by an applicable warranty, the customer may be responsible for the cost of diagnostics, labour, replacement parts and other agreed repair costs.

CompHub will not intentionally carry out chargeable repairs or install chargeable replacement parts without an appropriate agreement or approval from the customer, except where emergency action is reasonably necessary to protect the customer's property or where otherwise agreed.

Where replacement components are required, additional costs may depend on component availability and current market pricing.

Customer Data and Backups

Customers are strongly advised to create a complete backup of all important files and data before providing a computer or storage device to CompHub for diagnostics, repair, upgrades or other services.

CompHub may need to access or test a device to diagnose, repair or verify the requested service. We will only access information where reasonably necessary for these purposes.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CompHub is not responsible for the loss, corruption, deletion or inaccessibility of data during diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, testing or other services. Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their files and data.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Collection of Repaired Devices and Storage Fees

Once a repair, diagnostic service or other work has been completed, CompHub will notify the customer using the contact details provided.

The customer should collect the device within 14 days of being notified that it is ready for collection.

After the initial 14-day collection period, CompHub may charge a storage fee of €10 per day for continued storage of the device.

If a device remains uncollected for an extended period, CompHub may contact the customer using the most recent contact details provided and issue further reasonable notice regarding collection, storage charges and the possible consequences of continued non-collection.

If a device remains uncollected for approximately two months after completion of the service, CompHub reserves the right, subject to applicable law and reasonable notice to the customer, to take appropriate steps in relation to the uncollected property. This may include arranging lawful disposal or another lawful method of dealing with the device and any outstanding charges.

CompHub Comprehensive Warranty

PC systems assembled and sold by CompHub may include a CompHub Comprehensive Warranty of 36 months, where stated as included with the relevant product or order.

During the applicable 36-month warranty period, CompHub will provide free diagnostics and labour for covered faults. If a covered component is found to be faulty, CompHub will repair or replace the affected component at no additional cost to the customer.

The warranty covers the diagnosis of hardware faults, the labour required to carry out warranty repairs, and the replacement of faulty covered components.

Warranty service is provided free of charge when the PC system is brought to CompHub or another designated service location.

If collection of the PC is required, collection and/or delivery charges may apply depending on the customer's location, the size and weight of the item, and the circumstances of the warranty claim. Any applicable collection or delivery charge will be communicated to the customer in advance.

The CompHub Comprehensive Warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by accidental damage, liquid or water damage, corrosion or rust, misuse, neglect, improper use, unauthorised repairs or modifications, or other damage not resulting from a manufacturing or component fault.

The warranty applies only to the original PC system and its original components supplied by CompHub, unless otherwise stated.

Manufacturer Warranties

Components installed in PCs assembled by CompHub may be covered by an applicable manufacturer's warranty, subject to the manufacturer's own warranty terms and conditions.

CompHub may assist customers with eligible warranty claims where appropriate.

Individual products sold by CompHub, including computer components, monitors, peripherals and other products not assembled by CompHub, may also include an applicable manufacturer's warranty.

A manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, any statutory consumer rights that apply to the customer under applicable law.

Faulty Goods and Consumer Rights

If goods supplied by CompHub are faulty, not as described, not of the required quality or otherwise do not conform to the contract, customers may have remedies available under applicable Irish consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, these remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or another remedy provided by law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes, restricts or replaces statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Returns and Cancellations

Where a customer has a statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase, they must inform CompHub of their decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.

Where the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods, this will apply only where permitted by applicable law and where the customer has been appropriately informed before entering into the contract.

Goods should be returned with reasonable care and, where reasonably possible, securely packaged to prevent unnecessary damage during return transport.

Customers should contact CompHub before returning goods so that appropriate return instructions can be provided.

Different cancellation rules may apply to Custom-Built PCs, personalised products or other goods that are exempt from statutory cancellation rights under applicable law.

Product Reviews

CompHub may allow customers to submit reviews relating to products or services purchased from us.

By submitting a review, the customer agrees that the content should be genuine, relevant and based on an actual purchase or experience with CompHub.

CompHub reserves the right to review, reject, investigate or remove content that we reasonably believe:

  • Is false, misleading or fraudulent
  • Is not based on a genuine purchase or experience with CompHub
  • Contains spam, advertising or promotional links
  • Contains offensive, abusive, threatening or unlawful content
  • Contains personal information relating to another person without appropriate authority
  • Is unrelated to the relevant product or service
  • Appears to have been submitted to manipulate ratings or unfairly interfere with CompHub's review system

CompHub will not remove a review solely because it expresses a genuine negative opinion or describes a legitimate negative experience.

CompHub may take reasonable steps to restrict access or protect the website where misuse, security risks or unlawful activity are identified.

Unless otherwise stated, the content available on the CompHub website, including text, branding, logos, graphics, layouts and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to CompHub.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially use CompHub content without appropriate permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CompHub will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights available to consumers.

Privacy

Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using the CompHub website or providing personal information to us, your information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and relevant data protection law.

Changes to These Terms

CompHub may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services, operational procedures or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page together with the relevant Last updated date.

Changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted where doing so would be contrary to applicable law, unless the change is required for legal, security or other legitimate reasons.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Where you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory protections available to you under applicable consumer law.
