COUGAR FV150 RGB – Dual-Chamber Micro-ATX Gaming Case

The COUGAR FV150 RGB is a modern mid-tower gaming case designed around a dual-chamber layout that keeps the main hardware visible while hiding cables, storage drives and the power supply in a separate compartment. Supporting Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX motherboards, the FV150 provides flexibility for a wide range of gaming PC configurations. Its compact mid-tower dimensions of 300 × 400 × 415mm make it practical for powerful systems without requiring a large full-tower chassis. The case combines a clean black exterior with glass panels that provide a clear view of the components inside. With support for large graphics cards, multiple cooling configurations and vertical GPU installation, the FV150 is built for both attractive showcase systems and high-performance gaming PCs.

Dual-Chamber Design and Tempered Glass

The defining feature of the FV150 RGB is its dual-chamber internal layout. The main chamber is dedicated to the motherboard, graphics card and cooling hardware, while the secondary chamber provides space for the power supply, storage and cable management. This separation helps keep cables away from the visible hardware and creates a cleaner-looking finished build. The case uses glass panels to provide a wide view of the internal components, making it particularly suitable for systems with RGB lighting and premium components. COUGAR has also included a dedicated bottom fan bracket that allows compatible fans to be installed onto the bracket before it is fitted into the case, making installation easier when configuring the lower airflow path.

Four Pre-Installed ARGB Fans

The FV150 RGB comes equipped with four 120mm ARGB fans from the factory. Three reversed 120mm ARGB fans are installed on the motherboard side of the chassis, while a further 120mm ARGB fan is positioned at the rear. The included fans operate at 1000 ±10% RPM and use standard 5V 3-pin ARGB and 3-pin fan connections. The integrated RGB hub allows the lighting to be synchronised with a compatible motherboard, providing a consistent appearance across the system. The chassis can support up to 10 fans in total, with additional mounting positions at the top, bottom, side and rear. This gives builders considerable flexibility to increase airflow when using higher-performance processors and graphics cards.

Extensive Air and Liquid Cooling Support

The FV150 is designed to accommodate both traditional air cooling and liquid cooling configurations. The top of the case supports up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans, while the bottom supports up to three 120mm fans. The motherboard side can accommodate up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans, with an additional 120mm position at the rear. For liquid cooling, the top supports radiators up to 360mm, while the motherboard side supports up to 240mm and the rear supports a 120mm radiator. CPU air coolers can reach up to 180mm in height, providing compatibility with many full-size tower coolers. This combination allows the cooling configuration to be tailored to the hardware and performance requirements of the build.

Large GPU Clearance and Vertical Graphics Support

Despite its mid-tower dimensions, the FV150 offers generous graphics card compatibility. The chassis supports graphics cards up to 400mm in length, allowing it to accommodate many modern high-performance GPUs. It also supports vertical GPU installation, giving builders another option when creating a showcase-focused system. The case provides 7+3 expansion slots, while the power supply compartment supports units up to 210mm long. This combination of generous GPU clearance and flexible installation options makes the FV150 suitable for modern gaming hardware where graphics cards can be among the largest components inside the system.

Storage and Modern Front I/O

The FV150 provides flexible storage capacity while keeping the drives hidden within the secondary chamber. It includes two 3.5-inch drive bays, with two additional 2.5-inch positions available through conversion of the 3.5-inch bays. This allows different combinations of HDDs and SSDs depending on the requirements of the build. The front I/O is equipped with one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, together with a 4-pole headset audio connection and an RGB control button. With modern USB Type-C connectivity, extensive cooling support, four included ARGB fans and a spacious dual-chamber interior, the COUGAR FV150 RGB provides a strong foundation for a clean and visually focused modern gaming PC.
