ASRock Phantom Gaming PG27FFX2A 27-inch 520Hz Gaming Monitor

The ASRock Phantom Gaming PG27FFX2A is a high-refresh-rate 27-inch gaming monitor designed specifically for fast and responsive gameplay. Its flat IPS panel provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 together with an exceptional 520Hz refresh rate, allowing supported systems to deliver extremely smooth motion. The monitor also features a 1ms GtG response time, AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. With 400 nits typical brightness, 94% DCI-P3 and 123% sRGB colour coverage, it combines high-speed gaming performance with a broad colour range. The PG27FFX2A also includes an integrated Wi-Fi antenna, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB connectivity and a fully adjustable stand, making it a versatile choice for a dedicated high-performance gaming setup.

27-inch Full HD IPS Display

The PG27FFX2A uses a 27-inch flat IPS panel with a native 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The viewing area measures approximately 597 × 336mm, while the 0.3108mm pixel pitch provides the pixel density expected from a 27-inch Full HD display. IPS technology delivers 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, helping maintain consistent visibility when the screen is viewed away from the centre. The anti-glare surface helps minimise distracting reflections from surrounding light sources, making the monitor suitable for different gaming environments. ASRock specifies a typical 1000:1 contrast ratio and 16.7 million display colours using an 8-bit configuration. The panel is therefore designed around a combination of practical Full HD image quality and extremely high refresh performance.

520Hz Refresh Rate and 1ms Response

The defining feature of the PG27FFX2A is its 520Hz maximum refresh rate, placing it firmly among high-speed gaming displays designed for competitive and fast-paced gameplay. At 520Hz, the monitor can refresh the image significantly more frequently than conventional 60Hz, 144Hz or 240Hz displays when the connected system can produce the required frame rates. ASRock specifies a 1ms GtG response time, providing rapid pixel transitions designed to keep up with the high refresh rate. The monitor supports a vertical signal frequency from 60Hz to 520Hz through both HDMI and DisplayPort. ASRock also notes that the graphic
